Every October, Sample Solutions’ team attends the biggest international trade show for research, data and insights – Research & Results, traditionally held in Munich, and this year on the 23th and 24th.
We arrived one day before the show, so we had time to catch up with some friends over dinner in a nice traditional German restaurant.
The next day, all set and ready for a very exciting day ahead of us, we arrived at the MOC Convention Centre. We were pleasantly surprised to see that every year there are more and more international attendees coming to Munich for this show, where the latest trends and developments in the market research sector are being presented.
According to the official statistics, this year there were 3.400 attendees (a new record), 186 exhibitors and 150 workshops and presentations. There were a variety of topics offered to the audience such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data & Analytics, Agile Research, Customer Satisfaction, Industries and Target Groups etc.
This year, we decided to go as visitors. It was a decision that we didn’t regret, because it allowed us more time to visit the stands and chat with our clients, but also to meet new ones and attend the many workshops and presentations. It was a great opportunity to be able to meet our clients face to face, discuss about work, upcoming projects and to share ideas together.
The night, as usual, was reserved for drinks, German traditional food and a lot of networking at the Kongress Bar. We could all just relax for the night and enjoy the German beer while exchanging business cards as we chatted the night away.
It seems like this show never gets boring! Every year we come back from Munich with more experience than the previous one and with loads of new friends and memories that will keep us excited until next year’s Research & Results and see what it will offer next.
