Research & Results 2017
As it is now a tradition following the amazing experience that we had in the past, the Sample Solutions team exhibited at the leading market research show trade “Research Results 2017”, that took place on 25th and 26th October in Munich.
Arriving a day before the beginning of the show was a really smart thing to do – Munich welcomed us with surprisingly beautiful weather that we took to our advantage and spent the night meeting our friends and colleagues ahead of the fair while having dinner at the historical Munich’s Hofbräuerhaus.
As the first day of the show just started with over 170 exhibitors and around 3.200 participants it was difficult to narrow down and choose which booths to visit first.
Friendly and welcoming, we were greeting all the visitors that came by on our stand, where we offered freshly squeezed orange juice and strong coffee, to keep them fit during the trade.
Around 104 workshops were held, where professionals gave lectures of all the latest trends and current topics in the market research industry, such as Big Data, various online and offline methods, processing of data, Soft- or Hardware Solutions and various other related services and products. This year’s slogan was “Insight Innovation” and in that context, there was a special Innovation Area in Hall 2 where the exhibitors could present their techniques, panels and ways that lead to new insights and innovations.
The Research & Results Trade Show succeeded to position itself as the main meeting point for not only the German Market Research companies and professionals but also for companies from other European countries such as Netherlands, France, Italy, Russia but also UK and USA. Compared to last year the show is becoming more international and according to the feedback, we’re sure that it will further grow its international importance and global impact in the years that follow.
An event like this is a great opportunity not only to make new contacts and meet people but also to reinforce the relationships with existing clients. “Putting faces into names” brings many of them even closer and affects the quality of the partnership.
After the first day of the trade show, we enjoyed sharing experiences in a more casual atmosphere at the Research Club Networking Event at the Kongress Bar. Tasting delicious traditional German food and drinking wine or beer we exchanged many business cards and through the conversations, I also learned so much about specific niches within the industry.
We would like to thank all our clients and colleagues who visited us at our stand who sure helped to further our claim of ever-better fair and exhibiting next year as well.
