2018 has been a fruitful year for Sample Solutions in terms of presenting at conferences and workshop events within the Market and Opinion Research Industry. From sharing our most recent research solutions at the Comparative Survey Design and Implementation (CSDI<\/a>) workshop in Limerick, Ireland in late March, to attending on AAPOR<\/a>\u2019s (American Association for Public Opinion Research) 73rd<\/sup> Annual Conference held in late May in Denver, Colorado. The outputs of both these experiences left a lasting impact on us, from the new insights and expertise obtained on the various panel discussions, workshops and presentations through the many generated ideas that came as a results from networking with many skilled delegates from the academia, government and industry.

In 2019, Sample Solutions<\/a> continues to participate in industry conferences and workshops in order to keep up with the newest trends that are surfacing within this industry, but also to present it\u2019s newest scientific white papers on sampling for Opinion Polling and B2B research.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That being said, we are happy to announce that, we\u2019ll be presenting our newest research entitled \u201cData Collection Mode Change: Going from F2F to CATI – The case of Greece\u201d during the first block of the session for \u201cMethodology\u201d at this year\u2019s CSDI workshop, which will take place in Warsaw, Poland from 18th<\/sup> to 20th<\/sup> of March.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This May, we\u2019ll be attending the 73rd AAPOR Conference<\/a>, however we are delighted for the opportunity to present the paper at it\u2019s sister\u2019s event – the Annual WAPOR<\/a> (World Association for Public Opinion Research) conference, which will be held right after the AAPOR conference in the same city – Toronto, Ontario from 19th<\/sup> to 21st<\/sup> May.

Going back to the European side of Survey Research, we are happy to announce that we\u2019ll be presenting two papers during the 8th European Survey Research Association (ESRA) conference<\/a> in Zagreb, Croatia from 15th to 19th of July.

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first paper is about our recent work for sampling general European population entitled: \u00ab\u00a0Surveying European cities: the use of landline RDD <\/a>sample and a list-assisted mobile sample, enriched with geographic information\u00a0\u00bb on the block session \u00ab\u00a0Representation error: Linking sampling design and fieldwork practices\u00a0\u00bb. While the second presentation will be on B2B<\/a> research sampling, about our newest sampling solution entitled \u00ab\u00a0Using Big Data to decrease coverage \u2013 error and sample bias in European Establishment Surveys\u00a0\u00bb during the block session \u00ab\u00a0Business surveys and the changing data environment \u2013 how can we know best about businesses?\u00a0\u00bb.

We are looking forward to meeting experts from public opinion research, data research and the survey industry, as well to the many discussions that will be fueled by the topics and presentations held at these industry events.
